Log in to start one. If a slot is open, it starts right away. Guests you invite can join with just a name.
Trouble joining? Content blockers, strict privacy settings, Private Relay and Lockdown Mode can stop video meetings from loading, especially in Safari. Try Chrome or Firefox, or turn off blockers for meet.thefertilesoil.org.
Video session
Two sessions at the same time, for up to 8 people each, for up to 90 minutes.
Audio-only sessions
Up to four sessions at the same time, with no cameras (three while both video sessions are running). Rooms are audio-1 through audio-4.

Private link
Kept for up to 1 month. A private link is emailed to all participants, and the moderator can delete the recording at any time.
How to join
It works in any current browser, including Safari on an iPhone.
Add your name
Type your name and click Join meeting. By joining you agree to be recorded.
Allow audio
Allow your microphone, and your camera for video sessions, when your browser asks.
Wait for the host
If the host has not arrived, wait on the screen until they start the meeting.
Good to know
Time and size limits
This is a free service on a small server, so each session is limited to 8 people and up to 90 minutes. You get a warning 15 minutes before time is up, a second warning at 5 minutes, and a countdown for the last 30 seconds.
Slow connection?
Turn off your camera. Audio will usually stay clear.
